We Have a New Pastor!

February 6, 2012

We are happy to announce that CenterPoint has a new pastor! This past Sunday we voted unanimously to call Rev. Jonathan Robson to lead us forward, and we are deeply encouraged as we begin this new chapter in our story. We are also especially thankful for our search committee (Greg Gardner, Cori Close, David Conrad, Deanna Hamilton, Mike Kooi, David Osborne, Lynn Peacock, Chris Rubottom, Amanda Short and Karen Story) and their dedicated, tenacious effort to find our next pastor.

The Robson family will be joining us in mid-July after completing their service at the African Bible College in Lilongwe, Malawi. During the transition, we will continue to pray for each other and deepen our connection as we’re able. Below is the first of these efforts, a letter from Jonathan to the CenterPoint family.

Please join with us in welcoming Pastor Jonathon Robson and his family.

We are just excited to be getting together weekly with the women of CenterPoint. This study is open to all adult women and runs through August 10. See the Ministries page for more information.

It’s Sign-Up Time

May 5, 2011

It’s time to sign up for the church-wide picnic for our first visiting pastoral candidate. We’ll be picnicking at Myers Park May 15 at 12:00 p.m. Because our candidate is coming from the northwest, we thought it would be fun to give him an old fashioned southern welcome. That’s why our theme is southern cooking. What will you bring?
