Music Ministry Vision Statement

 

The CenterPoint Church Music Department, as one body unified in spirit and with a heart of purity, purpose to glorify God, to humbly serve Him in a spirit of excellence as ministers of music, hope, and agape love... To lead others into His divine presence through thanksgiving, praise and worship.

 

Music Ministry Mission Statement

 

To inspire, encourage, train, and direct those whom God has called into the music ministry with a spirit of service, excellence, sensitivity, purity, humility and strength.

 

Volunteer Opportunities and Requirements Necessary for Getting Involved in CPC Music Ministry:

 

Praise Team and Praise Band

• - Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
• - Must regularly attend CenterPoint Church
• - Must be at least 16 years old
• - Must attend weekly rehearsals, currently held Thursday evenings, 6:30pm – 7:30pm for vocals and 8:00pm-9:00pm for musicians, at Faith Presbyterian
• - Must be able to sing in at least 3 services per month
• - Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the choir
• - Must be committed to worshipping the Lord
• - No formal training required.
